STILL Materials Handling Ltd is part of the KION Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of forklift trucks, warehouse, and material handling equipment. We are currently looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager covering the Midlands and South East area.

The main focus of this role is to maximize our share of new and used truck opportunities by selling within this specified geographical area.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving the agreed annual targets for selling new, used, and materials handling equipment.
  • Generating new leads and business development opportunities by researching sources for prospective customers.
  • Managing product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims.
  • Planning and managing a personal business portfolio for the assigned territory according to the STILL market development strategy.
  • Demonstrating STILL products and services to existing and potential customers and assisting them in selecting the best options for their needs.
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining customer relationships and following up after delivery of trucks.
  • Participating in continuous improvement of processes and procedures with team members as requested.
  • Regularly demonstrating company values of Integrity, Courage, Collaboration, and Excellence.

Who are we looking for?

If you have experience in sales within the forklift or materials handling sector, that would be an advantage but is not essential. We seek someone with a successful sales record, self-motivated, eager to seek new business, and follow up on leads. If you have sales experience but are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

You need to be commercially minded, IT literate, and possess excellent communication skills.
