ROLE : CAD Engineer

LOCATION : Buckinghamshire

TYPE : Permanent

SALARY : Circa GBP 26,000 - GBP 38,000 per annum, dependant on experience

This is a great opportunity for a CAD Engineer to join a successful engineering company in Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis.

Qualifications and Attributes

• A degree, HNC, NVQ level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or similar
• Keen to learn new skills and develop, able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Previous exposure to building systems, ventilation systems, HVAC, acoustic, or louvre systems is desirable
• Open to junior to more experienced candidates
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus

You will produce detailed technical drawings to support the design and manufacture of products. There is room for growth within the company. Your responsibilities will include liaising with colleagues across departments, creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, preparing BOMs, and liaising with purchasing and suppliers.
