About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate leader to join us at our Bognor Regis Resort as part of our Buffets department as a Venue Manager. As a Venue Manager, you’ll be vital in helping our guests create smiles – getting stuck in to give them a great dining experience! You’ll be part of a big team responsible for providing our guests with breakfast and dinner in our self-service restaurants each day of their holiday.

You should enjoy developing people and be passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests by nurturing, training, and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment. You will drive standards and have the ability to lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brand standards and Butlin’s way of working.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you’ll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. You’ll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards whilst being guest-obsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do. The role involves analysing KPIs, facilitating and monitoring all team training, and adhering to food safety and health & safety policies.

You should have a passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that delight our guests. You should advocate for your team’s fulfillment at work, ensuring regular 's and PDP discussions to support their development and career growth with Butlin’s. As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same; you should enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and prioritizing guest experience.

Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, with shifts between 7am - 9pm, including weekends, bank holidays, and Christmas.

About You

We are looking for someone with prior experience in a volume catering and/or food environment, with strong guest and customer-facing skills, including handling queries and complaints. You should be passionate about leading and developing a team, supporting through regular 's and coaching. Delivering an amazing guest experience is paramount, so you should seek continuous improvement opportunities.

You should have experience managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes, working with multi-skilled teams, and supporting other areas based on guest demand. Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing performance, coaching, training, setting standards, problem-solving, and adapting to changing priorities is essential.
