Project Worker

£13.34 per hour

24 hours per week

Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a Project Worker for our Mental Health Service at Stoneleigh House, Bristol.

We deliver personalized housing, care, and support services across England to promote independence.

As a national, not-for-profit organization, we prioritize our customers and aim to support them on their pathways to independence. Your work will make a meaningful difference every day, whether delivering support directly or supporting our frontline teams from the office.

This role involves:

  1. Supporting customers with mental health needs to maximize their potential and independence
  2. Assisting progress in managing mental health
  3. Providing one-to-one support as needed
  4. Promoting safety through risk assessments and needs reviews
  5. Assessing customer needs and updating support plans
  6. Building professional relationships, ensuring personal choice, privacy, and dignity
  7. Leading small group activities to promote recovery and well-being

Skills and experience required:

  1. Experience working with adults with mental health needs
  2. Living experience of using mental health services is advantageous
  3. Empathy and ability to relate to individuals with mental health issues
  4. Ability to support people in crisis
  5. Effectiveness in high-pressure situations
  6. Experience in record-keeping and support planning
  7. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet use
  8. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to achieve it (desirable)
