This newly created role offers a rare opportunity to combine financial leadership with governance responsibilities, while playing a key part in shaping the future of a growing and ambitious organisation. You will work closely with the CEO, senior leadership team, and Board of Trustees, with scope to influence strategy and drive meaningful change.

What will the Finance Director role involve?

• Lead the finance function, providing strategic insight and guidance to support organisational goals.
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, audit, and statutory reporting.
• Act as Company Secretary, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Drive long-term financial planning and modelling, while supporting and developing a small, capable team.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Director vacancy:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with leadership experience, ideally within a charity (not essential).
• Strong financial insight, great attention to detail, and a hands-on, can-do approach.
• Clear, confident communicator who can explain financials to all audiences.
