This role is with a well-regarded UK law firm seeking a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its Construction & Projects (Contentious) team. The position is full-time and based in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, or Glasgow.

The focus will be on contentious construction matters, advising clients on disputes across various forums, including adjudications, court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. Responsibilities include handling complex issues related to building contracts, professional appointments, and project documentation. There may also be opportunities to support broader project work.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' PQE with a strong background in contentious construction. They should be pragmatic, commercially minded, results-driven, and possess excellent project management and communication skills. A collaborative approach and dedication to high-quality client service are essential.
