As a Product Manager / Developer, you will be responsible for the evolution and improvement of the Privacy Product strategy, including GDPR Individual Rights Requests (IRR). You will support the multimarket product strategy, technical implementation, and integration with systems within JPMC across Europe. This role offers opportunities to apply and grow your product, delivery skills, and privacy domain knowledge as the business expands.

Job responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for the Privacy Product expansion. The role involves:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert in the privacy domain, particularly regarding EU regulations, planning, delivery, and deployment management.
  • Managing a team of developers for product integration and acting as the point of contact for the team.
  • Partnering with Tech and Market Leads to ensure alignment of product and technical vision and requirements.
  • Collaborating with other squads, business functions, programme management, and third-party vendors to coordinate work in a dynamic environment.
  • Planning and organizing stories/tasks for upcoming sprints.
  • Creating and refining the product backlog based on strategy, value, deadlines, dependencies, and costs.
  • Writing acceptance criteria for user stories and ensuring they meet the Definition of Ready and Done.
  • Developing delivery plans and participating in Programme increment planning to align with firm objectives.
  • Leading change management for the product by partnering with PME and utilizing internal governance frameworks.
  • Working with engineering and QA teams to create test plans and address issues.
  • Developing standards, identifying new approaches, and training team members.
  • Managing the in-market product using KPIs to enhance customer experience and performance.
  • Overseeing regulatory issues, controls, risk, and resiliency, with proactive mitigation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Relevant experience in the retail banking sector, with expertise in EU regulatory integration within Privacy initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and delivery management.
  • Experience in product design, evolution, and successful delivery, with support from a Product Lead.
  • Background as a business analyst or product owner in complex Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Expertise in Agile principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience in planning, prioritizing, and maintaining product backlogs.
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery and working with development teams delivering to production.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Skill in incorporating user, business, and technical needs into product development.
  • Capability for independent decision-making and working under guidance.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Glue, SQL, Python, and privacy certifications (CIPP, CIPT, CIPM) is a plus.
