Job Description Summary
GE Caledonian are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Storesperson(s) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management of inventory, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials and equipment. You will help ensure accurate stock control, support operational needs, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards in material handling and inventory management.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible to Stores Lead for all aspects of stores process including: receiving of material, shelving, stock maintenance, cycle counting and accuracy.
• Responsible for the issue of material to the shop through Stores pick process.
• Responsible for processing Stores returns.
• Responsible for stock checking of material.
• Responsible for counter service to the shop issuing over the counter consumables and engine parts.
• Ensuring safe and environmentally sound working practices are adhered to.
• Responsible for receiving material in, checking incoming documentation and shelving parts.
• Checking goods delivered vs delivery documentation for discrepancies.
• Packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Prioritizing workload as part of receipt program.
• Must be computer literate and maintain stock accuracy through transacting material on ERP.
• Previous SAP experience beneficial.
• Fork Lift Truck license holder - GE Specific training will be given.
