Position: Buyer

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially savvy Buyer to manage product curation, supplier relationships, pricing strategies, and inventory accuracy. You will expand and maintain our product ranges, collaborating with external partners, internal teams, and suppliers to deliver the right products at the right price to our design-conscious customers.

Responsibilities

1. Product Management: Review and select new products, oversee listings, monitor sales, manage discontinued items, maintain pricing and margins, plan promotions, negotiate with suppliers.
2. Inventory Management: Ensure stock accuracy, monitor levels, resolve discrepancies, build supplier relationships, align supplier engagement with business goals.
3. Supplier Onboarding & Trend Sourcing: Onboard new suppliers, attend trade shows, discover trends and new opportunities.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with trading and marketing teams on product launches and promotions.

Requirements

• 2+ years in retail buying or product merchandising (homeware/furniture preferred)
• Strong commercial awareness, passion for design and trends
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Data-driven decision-making skills (sales, margins, inventory)
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and inventory systems (Shopify preferred)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
