Clinical Specialist Coronary (South Wales/West Midlands/East Anglia/East Midlands) - ideal graduate opportunity!, Wales

Abbott Vascular UK is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist to join our Coronary team. This role is ideal for recent graduates in Biomedical Sciences or similar fields seeking to start their careers in the medical devices industry.

The Clinical Specialist will provide operational support during procedures and training to support strategic, operational, and quality objectives within the territory (South Wales/West Midlands/East Anglia/East Midlands).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support and drive clinical training and sign-off for employees and customers. Develop bespoke training programs based on customer needs.
  2. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of Abbott therapies, technologies, and the healthcare market. Stay informed about clinical studies to support product advantages.
  3. Support physicians during clinical procedures, providing technical assistance. Escalate to senior colleagues when necessary.
  4. Assist with product implementation and customer education.
  5. Conduct product presentations and address technical questions.
Requirements:
  • BSc degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
  • Experience in a Cath lab or similar clinical role is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology.
  • Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated, with strong IT skills and willingness to travel extensively (driving license required).
