Job Description:

This leading developer of wireless communications technologies is urgently seeking a Principal Engineer 5G / 6G RAN to be based at their R+D Centre in London. The Principal Engineer 5G / 6G RAN will be involved in research and development of emerging 5G and 6G systems relevant to 3GPP RAN wireless standards. Along with this, the Principal Engineer will be pivotal in driving next-generation innovation and development addressing the challenges of future wireless systems development. The role also includes contributing to the development of innovative solutions, algorithms, and protocols, addressing emerging technologies in wireless, video, and AI applications.

Your background should include extensive research and development experience in emerging wireless communication systems (3GPP, RAN, 5G, 6G) and a successful track record in delivering software and system projects for emerging wireless technologies. Hands-on systems and software development skills around 5G 3GPP systems are essential. Experience in contributing to wireless global standardisation projects would be beneficial.
