This leading developer of wireless communications technologies is urgently seeking a Principal Engineer 5G / 6G RAN to be based at their R+D Centre in London. The Principal Engineer 5G / 6G RAN will be involved in research and development of emerging 5G and 6G systems relevant to 3GPP RAN wireless standards. They will play a pivotal role in driving next-generation innovation and development, addressing the challenges of future wireless systems. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the development of innovative solutions, algorithms, and protocols, focusing on emerging technologies in wireless, video, and AI applications.

Your background should include extensive research and development experience in emerging wireless communication systems (3GPP, RAN, 5G, 6G), with a successful track record of delivering software and system projects in this domain. Hands-on systems and software development skills related to 5G and 3GPP systems are essential. Experience contributing to wireless global standardisation projects would be advantageous.
