Job Title: Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer

Location: KT/TW/SW/SM Postcodes

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum + Van + Fuel Card + Benefits

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected social housing organization that is actively seeking an experienced and motivated Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to cover South West London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out gas boiler servicing, fault-finding, and emergency breakdown repairs in domestic social housing properties.
2. Diagnose and repair a variety of heating and hot water system faults.
3. Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations and H&S standards.
4. Maintain professional communication with tenants and ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Accurately complete service records and job sheets using a PDA or mobile system.

Requirements:

1. Valid ACS Gas Qualifications.
2. Proven experience in gas servicing and breakdowns, ideally in social housing.
3. Strong diagnostics skills and ability to work independently.
4. Full UK driving licence.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
