The Opportunity: As a Strategic HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought leader, partnering with functional leaders to achieve long-term business outcomes through workforce planning, talent management, and change initiatives. You will support global accountability and ensure strategic alignment across HR and business functions.

Key Activities:

1. Partner with Functional Unit Heads to deliver strategic HR support and transformational projects.
2. Align HR policies and frameworks with organizational strategies and market requirements.
3. Drive organizational transformation by anticipating market trends and external opportunities.
4. Promote a collaborative, values-driven HR culture within Astellas.
5. Leverage HR expertise and develop innovative solutions in collaboration with HR teams.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry in HR or a related field.
• Expertise in two or more HR functions such as organizational development, change management, learning, leadership, compensation, or recruitment.
• Experience working in a non-HR business function.

Education/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field or equivalent.
