  • Clean, structure, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis, including trend analysis, forecasting, and segmentation.
  • Support the adoption of data-driven decision-making, providing training and guidance to teams on data interpretation and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data collection, integration, and automation across systems.
  • Work closely with IT and other stakeholders to ensure data security, GDPR compliance, and governance.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including advanced dashboard creation, complex data modelling, with experience of M and DAX calculations to deliver high-performance reports and analytics.
  • Proven experience in optimising Power BI solutions for large and complex datasets.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and Power Query.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills – able to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset, with the ability to work independently.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of charity CRM systems (e.g., Access CRM, EPOS, Seller Dynamics, Microsoft Dynamics) and charity sector data challenges.
  • Understanding of charity sector KPIs (fundraising metrics, retail performance, supporter engagement).
  • Support company-wide Power BI deployments.
  • Experience with Role-Based Security in Power BI - for managing access at an enterprise level.
  • Demonstrable experience in advanced Power BI development, data modelling, and DAX, with a portfolio of past work (will be required).

Qualifications (one Or More Of The Following)

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
  • Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP)
