Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to focus within Health. The role is Home Based, with travel to client sites. NECSWS has a strong reputation across the public sector, with many wins within Health. We want someone with strong experience in this area to help us grow further. The role will mainly involve sales of NEC Rego, our integrated referral management platform across primary and secondary care. Check out the video below!

The key focus will be to develop strategic relationships at a senior level in Health, mainly NHS Accounts, to enable sales into the market, focusing on Software Sales to Clinicians and NHS Trusts. This involves engaging with senior sector leaders, including C-suite executives like CEOs, CFOs, and Medical Directors in both primary and secondary care.

The Account Manager will collaborate with other sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams within NECSWS to achieve revenue targets and develop the account for NEC. Responsibilities include maintaining the CRM for their accounts according to guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop relationships with existing customers and create new ones with Commissioners, Senior Management, Boards, and CEOs; manage expectations pre and post-sale.
  2. Generate opportunities for new or extended product sales, swaps, and solutions within assigned accounts.
  3. Achieve sales targets and activity KPIs.
  4. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities to meet revenue goals.
  5. Build long-term strategic relationships with clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
  6. Develop strategic opportunities and bids in your accounts.
  7. Manage projects through to completion, ensuring adherence to procedures and high-quality bid delivery.
  8. Follow corporate policies, processes, and guidelines.
  9. Participate in meetings and training as required.
  10. Contribute to a team-oriented culture and self-development.
  11. Assist in debt resolution and ensure delivery of sales and service revenues aligned with targets.

Our Software

Our software has proven benefits, such as reducing outpatient appointments, decreasing referral send time, and saving clinicians' time. For example, in one Community Trust, outpatient appointments were reduced by 1815, saving 121 sessions annually. Referral send time was cut from 300 to 84 seconds, saving approximately 19,000 minutes of clinician time annually. 72% of referred patients received advice within 6 hours.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software solution sales.
  • Experience in health market sales, including NHS Trusts, Clinicians, and Community Trusts; wider NHS experience is a plus.
  • Strong experience in developing health client accounts focused on software sales.
  • Experience engaging with senior management and decision-makers, including Commissioners and CEOs.
  • Broad knowledge of the IS/IT industry within the public sector and selling innovative software technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence and close deals.
  • Ability to build sustainable relationships with key health decision-makers and to move opportunities forward.
  • Ability to understand requirements and work with colleagues to develop solutions and evaluate sales options.
  • Strategic focus, with the ability to convert suspects into prospects and close sales.
