We’re now looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our technical team. If you’re passionate about solving complex problems, delivering excellent customer service, and working with a broad range of technologies, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-level technical support for client IT environments, resolving escalated 2nd/3rd line incidents and service requests.
  • Act as a trusted technical point of contact for key clients, maintaining excellent communication and service.
  • Troubleshoot and support a wide range of infrastructure including:
  • Switches, routers, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, HP, Ubiquiti, WatchGuard)
  • Windows and Linux servers
  • Microsoft 365 and Exchange
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, identity)
  • Virtualisation platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)
  • Assist with project delivery, including migrations, deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Document solutions, procedures, and client environments clearly and thoroughly.
  • Mentor junior engineers where needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a 3rd Line Support or senior technical role.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies: Layer 2/3 switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Solid Windows Server and Linux admin skills.
  • Confident with Microsoft 365 and Intune deployments and policy design.
  • Experience with Azure – particularly in identity, networking, and virtual machines.
  • Virtualisation experience with Hyper-V or VMware.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing priorities under pressure.
Desirable
  • Experience working for or with an MSP or IT Services provider.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools, RMM platforms, or scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, Azure) are a bonus.
