Senior / Level 3 Helpdesk Engineer

We’re now looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our technical team. If you’re passionate about solving complex problems, delivering excellent customer service, and working with a broad range of technologies, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-level technical support for client IT environments, resolving escalated 2nd/3rd line incidents and service requests.
  2. Act as a trusted technical point of contact for key clients, maintaining excellent communication and service.
  3. Troubleshoot and support a wide range of infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, HP, Ubiquiti, WatchGuard), Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Intune, Azure (VMs, networking, identity), virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware).
  4. Assist with project delivery, including migrations, deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
  5. Document solutions, procedures, and client environments clearly and thoroughly.
  6. Mentor junior engineers where needed.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in a 3rd Line Support or senior technical role.
  2. Strong understanding of network technologies: Layer 2/3 switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls.
  3. Solid Windows Server and Linux admin skills.
  4. Confident with Microsoft 365 and Intune deployments and policy design.
  5. Experience with Azure—particularly in identity, networking, and virtual machines.
  6. Virtualization experience with Hyper-V or VMware.
  7. Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  8. Well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing priorities under pressure.
Desirable
  1. Experience working for or with an MSP or IT Services provider.
  2. Exposure to monitoring tools, RMM platforms, or scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  3. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, Azure) are a bonus.
