Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting/stopping station communication faults.
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking and updates.

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies and Lates.
