Job summary

Booth Welsh Ltd is seeking an experienced E+I Supervisor for a site-based role in North Ayrshire. You will lead a team of electricians, manage work scopes, review quality, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on heavy industrial projects.

The role focuses on supervising installation activities, cabling to IS instruments, and ensuring timely reporting of delays. The ideal candidate will hold essential site qualifications and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
• IT literacy and capability to use common software tools.
• Impactful ability to manage schedules and allocate resources.
• Relevant electrical regulations awareness: 17th/18th Edition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accept permits and report delays.
• Manage a team of Electricians and work scopes.
• Review quality levels and ensure standards are met.
• Supervise installation of cable containment (Ladder Rach and Cable Tray) from drawings.
• Oversee mounting of junction boxes and cabling to IS instruments.
• Supervise installation of power cables for mot ors and lighting circuits.
• Carry out glanding, terminating of cabling, and inspections/testing.

E+I Supervisor - site based - North Ayrshire

Booth Welsh is looking for an experienced E+I Supervisor to support current projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in heavy industrial environments and previous experience in an electrical supervisory role.

LOCATION: North Ayrshire

Role responsibilities

• Responsible for accepting permits and reporting delays
• Managing a team of Electricians and work scopes
• Review quality levels and ensure these are maintained
• Supervision of the following activities:- Installation of cable containment (Ladder Rach and Cable Tray) from drawings
• Mounting of new junction boxes
• Installation of cabling to new IS instrument
• installation of power cables to sypply new mototrs
• Installation of small power and lighting circuits
• Carry out glanding terminating of all cabling
• Carry out inspectations and testing
