Job summary

A chemical manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician for an ongoing contract in North East England. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing instrumentation and electrical systems in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have CompEx 1–4 certification and relevant industry experience. This role offers competitive pay and the opportunity for overtime.

Qualifications

• Time-served E&I Technician with relevant experience.
• CompEx 1–4 certified and compliant with ATEX regulations.
• Able to work at heights in a multi-floor environment.

Responsibilities

• Calibration, installation, and fault-finding on instrumentation.
• Work with HART communication systems ensuring compliance.
• Maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
