Job description

Purpose

This role supports the Commercial Manager in delivering a high-performing e-commerce experience while ensuring that the brand remains strong across all digital channels. The E-commerce & Brand Executive will help with product merchandising, promotions, content updates, SKU setup and performance tracking, learning how to optimise a website to drive sales and improve the customer experience.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate or entry-level candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce operations, digital merchandising, and brand marketing within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial Manager with website updates, including adding new products, front-end SKU and bundle setup, updating descriptions and ensuring accurate pricing and promotions aligned across channels.
  • Manage the operational aspects of the website, ensuring that all products, categories, and pricing are correctly set up and maintained in the e-commerce platform.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or technical teams to ensure website updates, bug fixes, and optimisations are implemented correctly and on time.
  • Help manage on-site merchandising, making sure products are well-organised, easy to find, and optimally positioned to encourage sales.
  • Assist with content updates across the website, including homepage refreshes, category pages, and promotional banners, ensuring they align with brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure product pages and marketing assets reflect the brand’s tone of voice and style.
  • Monitor website performance, pulling basic reports on conversion rates, best-selling products, and customer engagement to support decision-making.
  • Support promotional campaigns and product launches, helping to coordinate on-site execution and tracking results.
  • Help with competitor research, spotting trends in e-commerce, product positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Commercial Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Learn & Develop

This role is designed as a learning opportunity, and the successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience in:

  • E-commerce operations – understanding how an online store is run, from product listings to promotions.
  • Website performance tracking – learning how to measure and analyse sales data and customer behaviour.
  • Digital merchandising & UX – improving how products are displayed and structured to maximise conversions.
  • Brand consistency & marketing alignment – working with creative teams to ensure a strong, cohesive brand presence.
  • Managing agency or technical resources – working with external teams to ensure the website runs smoothly and remains technically optimised.

Key Metrics You’ll Support & Track

  • Conversion rate (CVR) – tracking how website improvements impact customer purchases.
  • Product page engagement – monitoring how customers interact with product content.
  • Add-to-basket rate – helping to improve how effectively products encourage basket-building.
  • Promotion & discount performance – tracking how well sales campaigns perform.
  • Accuracy of SKU setup and product listings – ensuring all products are correctly displayed and priced.
  • Efficiency of agency or technical resource management – ensuring website fixes and updates are handled smoothly.

Who This Role Is For

  • A recent graduate or entry-level candidate with a strong interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, or merchandising.
  • Someone with great attention to detail who enjoys organising content and tracking performance.
  • A proactive, hands-on learner who is keen to develop skills in a fast-moving environment.
  • Basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing or content management is helpful but not essential – training will be provided.

This role is a fantastic starting point for anyone looking to build a career in e-commerce and digital marketing, with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time.
