Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an enthusiastic eCommerce Assistant to support and coordinate our online business from Hull. You will help drive sales growth and improve the customer experience across our platforms, with comprehensive training and clear progression paths.

You’ll create product listings on Shopify, ensure accurate specifications, and enhance content using Canva and Photoshop while coordinating fulfillment and supporting campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Genuine interest in eCommerce and online retail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong grammar.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain product listings on Shopify with descriptions and visuals.
  • Ensure product specifications and technical information are accurate.
  • Use Canva and Photoshop to enhance content.
  • Develop and manage merchandise range.
  • Monitor stock and assist sourcing of new products.
  • Coordinate order fulfilment with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Assist with promotions, campaigns and seasonal activities.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone and chat.
  • Handle returns, exchanges and warranty claims across channels.
  • Support ad hoc projects to improve online customer experience.

eCommerce AssistantLocation: Hull Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

We are seeking an enthusiastic eCommerce Assistant to join our growing team. This is an ideal role for someone looking to take their first step into eCommerce, offering comprehensive training, ongoing support, and genuine career progression opportunities.

Working alongside a variety of departments, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating our online business, helping to drive sales growth and enhance the customer experience across our eCommerce platforms.

The Role
  • Creating and maintaining product listings on our Shopify website, including engaging product descriptions and visual content.
  • Ensuring product specifications and technical information are accurate and up to date.
  • Using design tools such as Canva and Photoshop to enhance online content.
  • Managing and developing our merchandise range.
  • Monitoring stock availability and assisting with sourcing and researching new products.
  • Coordinating website order fulfilment with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Supporting online merchandising activities, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Responding to customer enquiries via email, telephone and online chat.
  • Managing returns, exchanges and warranty claims across our website and online marketplaces, including eBay.
  • Supporting a variety of ad hoc projects aimed at improving our online customer experience and business performance.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as Shopify, WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Experience using stock management or ERP systems.
