Job description

My client, a well-respected automotive dealer group, is looking for an eCommerce Customer Service Advisor with a passion for providing excellent service to the parts ecommerce team. Your primary role will be to deliver first-class customer service to current, prospective, and new customers via all forms of online customer engagement. You will work closely with key members of the ecommerce and operations teams in a rapidly growing business unit covering local online markets.

Role & Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver outstanding customer service by answering customer queries primarily via email, live chat (tbc), and telephone.
  2. Resolve customer queries received through eBay, Amazon, and ecommerce Webshop.
  3. Handle returns, exchanges, and discrepancies promptly.
  4. Coordinate with couriers regarding outbound, lost, or damaged shipments.
  5. Manage orders on internal/external systems.
  6. Collaborate with external ecommerce partners.

Required Attributes:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel; experience with Zendesk, eBay, and Amazon Seller Central is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond quickly to urgent inquiries.
  • Strong communication skills with internal departments.
  • Professional email and telephone manner.
  • Confidence speaking with a wide range of customers.
  • Interest or knowledge of vehicle parts is preferred.
  • Technical experience with ecommerce platforms is a plus but not required.
