Job summary

Mentmore Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to lead design, optimisation, and delivery across our Microsoft Dynamics landscape. You will translate business requirements into scalable 365 configurations and work with stakeholders, technical teams, and partners to implement enhancements.

The role requires strong experience with end-to-end processes, workshop leadership, data quality, and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of D365 modules (AP, AR, GL, PMA, HR, Budgets).
• Experience mapping, analysing, and optimising end-to-end business processes.
• Ability to create high-quality functional documentation and process flows.
• Hands-on experience with cross-functional teams in enterprise-scale implementations.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns and data flows between D365 and external systems; familiarity with Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design, architecture discussions, and requirements workshops across business units.
• Translate complex business processes into effective Dynamics 365 configurations.
• Configure and customise Dynamics 365 modules (F&O) per best practices.
• Create functional specs for integrations and extensions.
• Support end-to-end delivery including testing, UAT coordination, training, and go-live support.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure robust, maintainable solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues across functional layers and drive quality assurance.
• Provide guidance on governance, data quality, release management, and optimization.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance workflows and user experience.
• Work within large multisystem environments and align with platform standards.
