Job summary

Advania is seeking a skilled Business Central Developer to join our UK team. You will work on a range of client projects, implementing bespoke Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV customisations and integrations, while providing user training and ongoing support.

The role involves collaborating with clients, scoping projects, and ensuring timely delivery with strong focus on quality and customer service. We support a hybrid work policy balancing office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central (SaaS).
• Experience with git-based source control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Deep understanding of C/AL and AL programming languages.
• Experience with Shopify connectors and integrations.
• Technical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSRS, and indexing/keys.
• RDLC report design using Microsoft Report Builder.
• Familiarity with third-party ISVs such as Jet Reports, MobileNAV, Tasklet Factory Mobile WMS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clients: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and document data, workflows and dependencies.
• Scope and Estimate Projects: Define project scope, provide cost estimates, and establish delivery schedules.
• Customisation Development: Develop and support bespoke customisations for client needs.
• User Training Support: Provide ad-hoc training to empower users to use solutions effectively.
• Client Communication: Act as primary contact for clients, managing delays and maintaining relationships.
• Troubleshooting Expertise: Debug Business Central and NAV issues, on-premises or cloud.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain professional communication and client satisfaction.
• Project Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
