DPD is hiring for a warehouse operative in the East Midlands. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, and requires standing for long periods while handling parcels and operating warehouse equipment.

You will receive full training from day one and all necessary uniform and PPE, becoming a vital part of a busy logistics team. You should be a reliable team player with a strong work ethic, able to hit daily targets, and committed to high health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Physical role requiring standing and lifting up to 25kg
• Strong work ethic and targets driven
• Reliable team player with good attendance

• Willingness to work 5 days per week and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading, scanning and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg
• Using technology systems to route parcels correctly
• Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
• Conducting quality control checks and reporting discrepancies to supervisor
• Collaborating with teammates to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and reliability
