Job summary

Lawrence Dean Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Warehouse Forklift Driver to join a busy Letchworth warehouse on a temporary basis. The role combines forklift driving with general warehouse duties to keep operations running smoothly.

You will safely operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload deliveries, move stock, and pick/pack orders while maintaining a clean, orderly workspace. Immediate start and weekly pay are available, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential.
• Previous forklift driving experience required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Good attention to detail is important for accuracy and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a can‑do attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Move stock around the warehouse.
• Pick and pack customer orders.
• Book in goods and check deliveries.
• Replenish stock locations and stock checks.
• Assist with goods in/out and keep area clean and organised.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support the wider warehouse team with general duties.
