Job summary

Adecco is seeking a reliable Forklift/Warehouse Operator in Maidstone to join the team on a temp-perm basis. The role involves operating forklifts, loading and unloading goods, and assisting with stock checks and packing for dispatch. Immediate start with a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with a competitive hourly rate and potential for contract extension. Applicants should hold a valid Counterbalance licence and demonstrate strong timekeeping and

• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable with excellent timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move goods safely.
• Ensuring correct handling and storage of stock to prevent damage.
• Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Working closely with the warehouse team to meet deadlines and priorities.
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assisting with stock checks and inventory control.
• Carrying out general housekeeping duties.
• Completing relevant paperwork and documentation accurately.
