Job summary

The UTC Sheffield Academy Trust is recruiting a Principal to be based at the UTC Sheffield City Centre site. You will provide professional leadership to ensure excellent standards and outcomes for students, working with the CEO/Executive Principal, the Governing Body and Trust Board.

You will drive improvement across the UTC, with emphasis on employer and university engagement, personal development, behaviour and attitudes, and collaboration with other UTCs in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience leading secondary or UTC education with 13-19-year-olds.
• Ability to build relationships with industry, policymakers, parents and students.
• Proven ability to foster collaboration across campuses and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership to ensure excellent standards and outcomes for students.
• Drive strategy to improve the quality of education, employer and university engagement.
• Lead the UTC Sheffield Academy Trust at the City Centre site and work with other UTCs across the region.
