Job summary

UTC Derby Pride Park in England is seeking a suitably qualified Teacher to support delivery of Engineering, Design and Technology, and Systems & Control (Electronics) to 13–19-year-olds within a technology-rich, employer-led environment.

You will work with staff to develop a centre of excellence in Engineering & Manufacturing alongside Health & Life Sciences, and welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who can grow within our unique UTC setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified teachers delivering engineering/DT qualifications.
• Experience with KS4 and Post-16 qualifications such as Cambridge Nationals and BTEC/T Level Engineering.
• Ability to work in an employer-led, technology-rich environment.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Engineering, Design & Technology, and Systems & Control subjects.
• Contribute to developing a centre of excellence in Engineering & Manufacturing and Health & Life Sciences.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Director and staff to implement qualifications.
