Rubicon Recruitment is seeking an SMT Operator in Poole to join a fast-paced electronics manufacturing line. The role involves setting up, running and monitoring Europlacer SMT placement machines, ensuring output and quality targets are met.

You'll perform efficient changeovers, carry out basic fault-finding, and perform routine checks while keeping the workstation organized. The shift runs 8am-4pm with an early finish on Fridays, offering stable hours in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Recent Europlacer machine experience within an SMT production environment.
• Ability to work at pace with high accuracy and quality standards.
• Willingness to stand and stay active on the production line for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, running, and monitoring Europlacer SMT placement machines to meet output and quality targets.
• Carrying out product changeovers efficiently and accurately to keep production on schedule.
• Carrying out basic fault-finding and escalating issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Performing routine checks and adjustments to maintain placement quality.
• Following build instructions and process documentation to ensure standards are met.
• Keeping the work area organized and supporting continuous improvement on the line.
