Job summary

Timeplan Education is recruiting for a SEND/ SEN PE Teacher to join a specialist secondary school in Harrow from September 2026. The role is full-time and involves delivering engaging PE lessons for students aged 11-19 with SEND, adapting activities to suit individual abilities and supporting their physical skills, wellbeing and independence.

Ideal candidates will hold QTS and secondary PE teaching experience; experience with autism, learning difficulties, or complex needs is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• PE teaching experience in a secondary school.
• Experience with SEND/SEN is desirable.
• Ability to differentiate and adapt PE to individual needs.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and accessible PE lessons.
• Differentiate activities to meet individual needs.
• Support students' physical skills, wellbeing and independence.
