Qualifications

• Proven experience or relevant training as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
• Deep knowledge of secondary curriculum subjects and classroom management.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
• Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted academic and routine guidance to students, 1-on-1 or in small groups.
• Assist the teacher by adapting learning materials to student targets.
• Guide student behaviour with patience, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.
• Track, monitor, and report student progress to senior staff.
