Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting Science Teachers to work across Advanced Learning Partnership (ALP) secondary schools in County Durham. Daily pay ranges from £134.00 to £270.86, depending on experience and qualifications, with roles from day-to-day to long-term placements.

As the MSP for ALP, Vision for Education handles all supply requirements and offers ongoing support, CPD and a dedicated Secondary consultant. All staff are paid via PAYE and eligible for pension contributions.

Qualifications

• QTS status and eligibility to teach science in a secondary setting.
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for the progress of secondary pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging science lessons and monitor pupil progress.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.
• Cover KS3/KS4 and day-to-day or long-term placements as required.
