Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Secondary Science Teacher to join our network of local secondary schools. The role welcomes QTS or ECTs and covers Biology, Chemistry or Physics with a focus on practical lessons and STEM engagement.

Roles are full-time or part-time, term-time only with competitive daily rates ranging from £140 to £233. Start date is immediate or for next term, with weekly pay and flexibility across schools.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or equivalent (ECTs are welcomed).
• Degree in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science).
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Lead lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 across science subjects.
• Deliver engaging demonstrations and practicals to explain concepts.
• Support GCSE & A-Level preparation and data analysis in class.
• Differentiate instruction to support SEND and EAL learners.
