Job summary

Supply Desk in Heathfield is seeking a qualified Supply PE Teacher to cover secondary lessons across KS3 and KS4. The role offers flexible daily, short-term and long-term arrangements, with hours 08:30–15:30 and a competitive daily rate.

You will deliver engaging PE sessions, adapt to different school environments, manage practical activities safely, and monitor pupil progress according to each school's policies. A DBS Update Service is preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across diverse PE activities.
• Ability to manage practical lessons safely.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain DBS via Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow each school's curriculum.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among pupils.
• Maintain strong behaviour management in indoor and outdoor settings.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress per school policies.
• Ensure health and safety standards are upheld during activities.
