Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting Secondary School Teachers for schools across England, with September starts on short-term, long-term, permanent or temp-to-perm contracts. We welcome both experienced teachers and ECTs and tailor placements to your subject specialism and career goals.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge across secondary curriculum.
• Experience teaching KS3 and/or KS4.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach your specialist subject in line with the school curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities and needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress with effective feedback.
• Prepare students for GCSEs and other examinations where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Support students with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Contribute to the wider school community.
