Job summary

Milk Education is actively seeking an enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher to join our supply team in Woking, Guildford, Farnham, and surrounding areas. The role covers KS3/KS4 with potential KS5 teaching, and aligns with Milk Education’s flexible supply model.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and bring professional classroom practice, strong behaviour management, and a commitment to high learner achievement. Enjoy flexible days, fast onboarding, and dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
Be confident delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
Be flexible, reliable, and able to quickly establish positive relationships with students and staff.
Have a commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high expectations for all learners.

Responsibilities

Teach English to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate.
Deliver engaging lessons and assess student progress.
Collaborate with staff to raise achievement and maintain high standards of teaching and behaviour.
