Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher for a full-time role in Ealing, West London, starting January 2027. Plan and deliver engaging KS3/KS4 maths lessons and support GCSE preparation in a welcoming school community.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary setting is essential.
• Proven ability to prepare students for GCSE examinations.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
• Teach topics including number, algebra, geometry, statistics and probability and GCSE preparation.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies.
• Assess, monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and leadership teams.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school policies at all times.
