Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a Cover Teacher to support secondary schools across the Leeds area. You will deliver pre-planned work, manage behaviours, and keep the classroom orderly between lessons.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS disclosure
• Legal right to work in the UK
• CV covering last 10 years of employment history
• Willingness to attend a registration interview
• Experience delivering pre-planned work in secondary schools (cover teaching)

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned work set by the class teacher following lesson plans and ensuring tasks are completed
• Manage behaviour and ensure students stay on task according to the school's policy
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom ready for the next lesson
• Report any issues regarding behaviour, work set or safeguarding to school staff
• Deliver engaging lessons across a range of secondary subjects; specialist knowledge not required
