Job summary

Provide Education is seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors for the East Midlands for both long-term and day-to-day work. Roles involve delivering pre-planned lessons, managing behaviour, and supporting pupil progress in various schools.

Based in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire or Leicestershire, these roles offer a competitive daily rate and dedicated consultant support throughout placements, with safeguarding and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people (school-based desirable).
• Confident managing a classroom independently.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Support a positive and structured learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
