Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors for Sunderland secondary schools with immediate work available. You will supervise KS3/KS4 classes, deliver pre-set work, and adapt to different schools while maintaining high expectations.

We offer flexible day-to-day or longer placements with weekly PAYE payments, and dedicated consultant support to help you secure bookings across Sunderland. DBS checks are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school.
• Confident in managing a classroom independently.
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 and delivering pre-set work.
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations.
• Following school procedures and providing brief feedback to staff.
• Adapting confidently to different schools and year groups
