Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a well-established secondary school in Bedford to recruit a passionate Science Teacher for an ASAP start. You will teach across the Science curriculum and support a collaborative department focused on high academic progress and engaging practical work.

The ideal candidate will have QTS/PGCE, experience delivering differentiated lessons, and a commitment to student development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Science Teacher capable of teaching Science at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
• Must have a recognised teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE/PGDE).
• Experience planning and delivering differentiated Science lessons.
• Ability to assess and monitor student progress effectively.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to supporting students of different abilities and backgrounds.
• Applications welcomed from experienced teachers, ECTs and overseas teachers.
• Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
