Job summary

Lift Greensward is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join from January 2027. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to teach Science and make a positive difference to students' learning and achievement.

You will join a supportive department, deliver engaging and ambitious Science lessons, and help students develop knowledge, practical skills and curiosity needed to succeed. Applications from those with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to inclusive

Qualifications

Hold a degree in a relevant subject and QTS.
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of high-quality teaching.
Ability to assess student progress and plan next steps.
Builds trusted relationships with students, colleagues and families.

Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire and challenge students.
Use assessment and feedback to identify next steps and support progress.
Create a positive, safe learning environment where students can succeed.
Contribute to curriculum planning, practical Science learning and the wider department.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support students' achievement and wellbeing.
