Smile Education is currently recruiting a passionate Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in the Wolverhampton area. The role focuses on delivering engaging Science lessons, building positive relationships with students and supporting their progress across Key Stages 3 and 4.

We are seeking candidates with Science-education experience in UK classrooms, a strong grasp of the Science curriculum, and a professional, engaging classroom presence.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum.
• Experience teaching GCSE Science and familiarity with examination boards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons.
• Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, GCSE Science when appropriate.
• Creating an inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity.
• Differentiating lessons to meet SEND and other needs.
• Assessing, marking and providing feedback to support progress.
• Collaborating within the Science department to drive student achievement.
• Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
