Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Southampton is seeking a Rental Return Agent to ensure vehicles are returned promptly, inspected, and prepared for the next rental. You will interact with customers, process rental agreements and payments, and perform vehicle inspections.

The role requires a high school diploma, fluent English, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a full-time rotating shift including weekends. You will join a team focused on delivering great customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• 1–2 years in customer service preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers returning vehicles and process paperwork.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and document findings.
• Explain final charges and obtain signatures.
• Assist with directions and travel information.
• Maintain records and ensure vehicle readiness for next rental.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Keep car lot organized and follow safety protocols.
