Job summary

Tarmac Crown Farm Sand & Gravel Quarry near Northwich is looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team. You will operate on site with aggregates, run mobile plant and handle loading shovel, dumper and excavator duties while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will help achieve daily production targets, participate in maintenance, and support site operations to ensure on-time deliveries while upholding a strong culture of safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a health and safety based environment.
• Good timekeeping and time management are essential.
• Experience operating mobile plant including loading shovel, dumper and excavator.
• Knowledge of risk assessments related to operative roles.
• Flexible and able to work in a multi-skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Operate with aggregates on site and run mobile plant and related equipment.
• Weighbridge duties and loading shovel operations.
• Perform day-to-day maintenance and housekeeping of plant.
• Support plant optimisation and safety training within the team.
• Work to meet daily/weekly production targets and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain a zero-harm culture and uphold safety compliance.
