Job summary

Belcan is seeking a proactive Project Controller to support delivery of projects from start to finish. Based in Derby or Glasgow, you will work with Project Managers, engineers and stakeholders to track progress, budgets and forecasts in ERP systems.

You will produce reports and KPIs, support invoicing and cost reconciliation, identify risks, and help drive continuous improvement while ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in Project Controls, Project Coordination, or a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with CRM and/or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and close projects within the ERP system.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, costs, and performance.
• Produce and analyse project reports, KPIs, and financial data.
• Support invoicing, cost reconciliation, and payment tracking.
• Identify risks, budget deviations, and support change control activities.
• Prepare accurate reporting for customer and internal reviews.
• Maintain project data integrity and support audit requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
