Job summary

Protocol Education is assisting a welcoming primary school in LS15, Leeds, to recruit a capable Teaching Assistant to support learning from day one.

You'll work with KS1 or KS2, run small group interventions in literacy and numeracy, provide 1:1 support including SEND pupils, and help maintain a positive, structured classroom environment. This full-time, long-term role offers ongoing training and the potential to become permanent; salary details are discussed during the interview.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a UK primary school.
• Confident supporting phonics, reading and basic maths.
• Calm, proactive and able to build rapport quickly.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher across KS1 or KS2
• Running small group interventions (literacy & numeracy)
• Providing 1:1 support including SEND pupils
